8/31 B day

The students started off the day with a review of how to create graphs. They learned what it means to extrapolate and interpolate data. We then took notes on density and how to calculate it. The powerpoint is in the file cabinet. The students were notified that their test is on Friday and they were given their study guide today to begin reviewing. Come to class on Thursday prepared to ask questions! If you are struggling with dimensional analysis please come after school for extra help

8/30 A day

Today the students completed a worksheet on graphs (Graphing WS-and handed in). We also went over the sheet that was assigned for homework (more difficult). We then moved on to the notes on density (also in file cabinet) and then the students began reviewing for their test on Wednesday. Study hard and come in for extra help if needed.

First day 3A

We had more time in 3A today so we were able to get further into the lesson.  We talked about safety and handed out the safety contract - this needs to be signed by student and parent and handed in this week.  We also started a group discussion about science and what it is.  We will continue Wednesday.

First Day!

Today we went over the course syllabus and some classroom procedures. They also took a pre-test to assess their math and measurement skills. Parents, please fill out and sign the class policies page. It is due this week for a grade.
